DEVELOPMENT
All teams train 2 – 3 times a week and compete in the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association (SaskVolleyball) provincial club circuit. All teams will attend the provincial championships; the 16 – 18 age group is expected to attend the Volleyball Canada (VC) National Open.
Our experienced coaches encourage a positive learning environment for athletes and work to prepare athletes for opportunities to play at the post-secondary level. Each team is assigned 2 – 3 coaches to encourage thorough feedback.
The sport's developmental aspect is incorporated into practice and game situations. Each team will develop at a different rate, appropriate to their skill level. JCVC strives to develop teams to a competitive level for each age category as athletes mature into the sport.
